About Me

I am a comics artist, writer, animation director and developer with over ten years’ experience in children's media and animation.

Professional Summary

Writing credits on almost 200 episodes of multi-award-winning children’s TV. Shows include Peppa Pig, The Adventures of Abney and Teal, Morph, Sarah and Duck, Olobob Top, Dipdap, TishTash (2008-2020).

Writer, series co-creator, co-director at newly-established animation production company, TroMi. Tromi has secured BFI funding for the development of an animated preschool series (2020).

Animated short film script in development at Aardman (2020).

Co-creator (with Amy Stacy) and co-writer of a live-action comedy drama, in development at Potboiler Productions (2020).

Associate producer and animation director on a live action TV adaptation of my graphic novel, Probably Nothing. The series will be written by a well-known playwright (2019-2020)

Co-creator, head writer, assistant director on The Adventures of Abney and Teal for CBeebies, working in house at Ragdoll Productions (2008-2012)

Author of picture books for children and comics for adults, published by Penguin, Viking, Walker, strips featured in the Guardian, Vice, Glamour and Art Review magazines (2010-2020)


Motivated arts educator, and visiting lecturer in Animation and Illustration at Kingston University and the Royal College of Art. My workshops provide students with a comprehensive understanding of animation, illustration and communication design. Skills covered include stop-frame, hand drawn, collage, puppetry, live action, editing, lighting, sound design, concept and story development. (2008-2018)
